Amazon Fire TV Stick Installation

Install the Downloader Application

Navigate to "Find" on your Firestick home screen, search for Downloader (by AFTVnews), and install the app from the Amazon Appstore.

Enable Developer Options & Unknown Apps

Go to Settings > My Fire TV > About. Click on your Fire TV device name 7 times until you see "You are now a developer". Return to My Fire TV > Developer Options > Install unknown apps, and toggle Downloader to ON.

Download IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate

Open Downloader, input the short-code or URL provided in your BYTEGEEK activation message, and press Go to install your preferred player APK.

Authenticate with Xtream Codes API

Launch the app, select Login with Xtream Codes API, and input the Server URL, Username, and Password sent to your WhatsApp or Email.

Android TV & Google TV Installation

Open Google Play Store

On your NVIDIA Shield, Sony/TCL Android TV, or Chromecast with Google TV, launch the official Google Play Store.

Install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro

Search for TiviMate IPTV Player (recommended for Android TV) or IPTV Smarters Pro and click Install.

Add BYTEGEEK Playlist

Select "Add Playlist", choose "Xtream Codes", and input your BYTEGEEK server address, username, and password.

Samsung & LG Smart TV Setup

Download IBO Player or Smart IPTV

Open the Samsung Smart Hub or LG Content Store. Search for IBO Player or Smart IPTV and download the application.

Note Your Device MAC & Key

Launch the app to reveal your unique Device MAC address and Device Key displayed on screen.

Upload Your BYTEGEEK M3U Playlist

Visit the app's web portal (or send your MAC to our WhatsApp support desk), and link your BYTEGEEK M3U subscription playlist.

Apple TV, iPhone & iPad Setup

Install from iOS / tvOS App Store

Search for IPTV Smarters Pro or Smarters Player Lite in the official App Store and install.

Log in with Xtream Codes

Open the app, tap "Xtream Codes API", and type your BYTEGEEK login credentials to start streaming on your Apple devices.

Common Streaming Troubleshooting Tips

Buffering on 4K Sports

Reboot your home router to clear ISP DNS cache. Ensure you have at least 25 Mbps broadband. Wire your device via Ethernet cable for peak weekend sports.

Authentication Error

Check that there are no accidental spaces in your Server URL, Username, or Password. Remember that credentials are case-sensitive.

EPG Program Guide Empty

In your player settings, click "Update EPG" manually. Allow 1 to 2 minutes for the full 7-day schedule to ingest into memory.

UK ISP Matchday Throttling

BYTEGEEK servers use encrypted TLS/SSL ports (8443/443). If your ISP attempts traffic shaping, our team can switch your assigned port immediately via WhatsApp.
